HyaJoint Plus
HYAJOINT Plus Synovial Fluid Supplement is a product supplied in a glass syringe with hyaluronic acid. The product is a clear, lucid, viscous, sterile and non-pyrogenic solution. The stabilized hyaluronic acid is extracted from the microorganism.
The product is for single use only. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide which occurs as an important structural element of skin, subcutaneous and connective tissues, such as synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid is identical in all living organisms and highly biocompatible. ONE mL of the HYAJOINT PLUS contains 20 mg of sodium hyaluronate dissolved in physiology saline. The pH value of the product is between 6.8 and 7.8.

OA can be treated with hyaluronic acid injection (also known as viscosupplement) into the joint area. OA patients usually have low level of Hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule that lubricates and cushions the cartilage in a normal joint. Lack of HA will cause the synovial fluid lose its elasticity and viscosity properties and increase the mechanical stress on demaged cartilage.
